We are currently seeking a candidate to join our team as a Full-Time Medical Receptionist.
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for supporting the physicians through scheduling patient appointments, checking patients in, and collecting all the necessary insurance information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Answer inbound calls to the practice, assist patients with general questions and scheduling and forward calls to their appropriate phone lines Schedule patient appointments with the practice.
Work collaboratively with the Medical assistant team to ensure the Physician schedule is utilized appropriately and patient care expectations are followed.
Collect the necessary information from patients such as insurance cards, HIPPA information, and new patient registration.
Participate in department meetings and in-service training as required Other duties as assigned Ideal Candidates Have the Following:
High school diploma required At least two years of experience working in a medical office with a similar patient volume.
Pediatric experience preferred but not required Previous experience working with an EMR and a multi-line phone system required Bilingual ECHO is an equal opportunity employer.
